Native to the mountains of Oaxaca and Puebla, Mexico, this compact succulent forms dense, clumping rosettes of soft blue-green foliage, each leaf tipped with tiny white bristles for a charming, fuzzy texture.

While the blue-green rosettes are stunning year-round, this plant truly ignites in summer—bright light brings out blazing red and yellow tones, earning it the nickname "Mexican Firecracker." From spring to early summer, arching stems carry red, yellow-tipped tubular flowers for an extra pop of colour.
