Montmorillonite Clay & Diatomaceous Earth Blend

This blend is made of diatomaceous earth and montmorillonite clay (calcined clay), and is processed at high temperatures to reduce its size while maintaining its natural properties. This treatment creates a lightweight and porous substance that enhances plant drainage, aeration, water regulation, and oxygenation. Its natural pH balance and nutrient-holding capabilities make it a durable material for long-term use, making it ideal for plants like bonsai, cactus, succulent, and orchid as a soil amendment.

USES: Ideal for rooting plants, particularly haworthia species. Additionally, the non-floating nature of calcined clay allows for easy submergence or soaking of plants in water to eradicate pests. This product can serve as a growth medium and has a greater moisture retention capacity than solely calcined clay, thanks to its inclusion of diatomaceous earth.
