Native to South Africa, the Giant Toad Plant (Stapelia Grandiflora) is known by other aliases such as Giant Zulu, Star Fish Flower, Carrion Flower, and Great flowered Stapelia. These plants boast bold, star-fish shaped blooms that originate from younger shoots near the base. The flowers are intriguing due to their unpleasant scent resembling rotting meat, which attracts pollinating flies.
