Sedum Furfuraceum is a low-growing succulent native to the Mexican states of San Luis Potosí and Guanajuato. It features dark green, egg-shaped leaves covered with scurfy, whitish scales. These leaves are arranged in tight whorls of five around the plant’s prostrate to ascending, sparsely branching stems. Growing up to 6 inches tall, this plant can spread up to 1 foot wide or more. When exposed to bright light, the leaves can develop a striking reddish-purple hue, while the lower leaves turn reddish-orange before eventually dropping off. This variety is well-suited for rock gardens, containers, or ground cover, thriving in well-draining soil and bright, indirect light.
