Opuntia robusta is widely available in the Southern United States and in Mexico. It is an attractive blue cactus and almost spineless.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROOTING CUTTINGS 
Lay the cutting flat on top of the soil. Roots should form in about two weeks. Only water the cutting sparingly once roots emerge. Keep the plant in bright shade during the rooting period. To avoid burning the leaves, gradually acclimatize the plant to full sun.
