The endemic region of Haworthia Cooperi Variegata is the Eastern Cape in southern Africa. This species has a short stem that is located several centimetres underground, with cylindrical leaves that extend up to the soil surface. The transparent tips let light into the factory below. Most of each leaf is under soil, helping them stay cooler in summer and less visible to animals. The plant offsets slowly, yet eventually forms an attractive clump.
