Cyanotis Somalensis, commonly known as Pussy Ears, is a charming trailing succulent-like houseplant admired for its soft, velvety leaves covered in fine white hairs. The fuzzy foliage gives the plant a unique texture that resembles a kitten's ears, making it a favourite among collectors and pet-plant enthusiasts.
Native to East Africa, this fast-growing plant produces cascading stems that are perfect for hanging baskets, shelves, or decorative containers. Under bright conditions, it may produce small, vibrant blue to violet flowers that contrast beautifully with its silvery-green foliage.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, Cyanotis Somalensis thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, and avoid overwatering to keep the roots healthy. With proper care, it will continue to branch and create a lush, trailing display.
