Cotyledon Tomentosa, also known as Bear's Paw, is a low-growing succulent shrub native to South Africa. It has fuzzy, green leaves and, when exposed to strong sunlight, the tips of the leaves will turn red, resembling a baby animal paw pad with claws. This succulent is fairly easy to cultivate and prefers porous soil. To prevent leaf-drop, it should be grown in partial sun and only watered sparingly.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROOTING CUTTINGS
Insert the cutting at least 1" into the soil. Wait two weeks before watering the plant lightly; only water again if the soil has dried out. Roots should form within 3 to 4 weeks. During the rooting period, make sure the plant is receiving bright shade. Acclimate the plant to partial sun slowly to avoid scorching the leaves.
