Agave Lophantha 'Quadricolour'

Agave Lophantha ‘Quadricolour’ is a striking variegated agave prized for its colourful foliage and architectural form. This attractive cultivar produces compact rosettes of narrow, pointed leaves featuring a combination of green, creamy yellow, and reddish-pink tones. The colours become more pronounced when the plant receives plenty of bright light. It is relatively slow-growing and can form offsets around the base as it matures. Like most agaves, ‘Quadricolour’ thrives in well-draining soil and should be kept relatively dry during the colder months.

NOTE

Protect from prolonged freezing temperatures and winter moisture. Excellent drainage is essential, particularly when temperatures are low. Grow as a container plant in colder climates and overwinter in a cool, dry, protected location.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROOTING CUTTINGS

Insert the offsets into the soil at a depth of 0.5" to 1". Allow the cut end to dry and callous before planting. Water sparingly until roots develop, keeping the soil mostly dry. Place in bright shade during the rooting stage, then gradually introduce the plant to full sun once established.
