Native to South East Asia. This is a fast and easy to grow hoya, but needs to be grown in airy soil (not in a soil-less medium). It has attractive shiny green foliage with almost round shaped leaves and many silver flecks. To avoid deformed leaf growth and to keep variegation from reversing back to green, the plant should be grown in bright light (not direct sunlight) and with high humidity. It has gorgeous ball shaped flowers with a sweet fragrance that's not overpowering.
