Echeveria Pallida, also known as Argentine Echeveria, is an elegant rosette-forming succulent prized for its long, spoon-shaped leaves and graceful, open growth habit. The fleshy leaves range from pale green to blue-green and can develop soft pink or reddish tones along the edges when grown in bright sunlight. With its elongated form and delicate colouring, Echeveria Pallida makes an attractive addition to succulent collections, containers, and sunny windowsills.

LIGHT | Bright light to full sun; gradually acclimatize to direct sunlight
COLD TOLERANCE | Protect from frost; best kept above 5°C (41°F)
WATER | Water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry. Avoid overwatering and reduce watering during the cooler months.
SOIL PH | Slightly acidic to neutral soil pH, approximately 6.0–7.0.
SOIL TYPE | Very well-draining cactus or succulent mix
FERTILIZER | Diluted balanced succulent or cactus fertilizer during active growth
PROPAGATION METHODS | Leaf cuttings, stem cuttings, or offsets
HUMIDITY LEVEL | Low
ACTIVE SEASON | Spring through autumn
GROWTH HABIT | Rosette-forming with an elongated, upright growth habit
LEAVES | Long, fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves in pale green to blue-green, sometimes developing pink or reddish margins
FLOWER | Bell-shaped pinkish-orange to coral flowers on tall, arching flower stalks
FAMILY | Crassulaceae

NOTE | Echeveria pallida can develop a more open rosette when grown with insufficient light. Provide plenty of sunlight to encourage a compact shape and enhance the natural colouring. Protect from frost and prolonged exposure to cold, wet conditions.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROOTING CUTTINGS

Place the leaf or stem cutting on top of the soil, ensuring the cut end makes contact with the growing medium where applicable. Allow the cutting to callus before planting if freshly cut. Keep the cutting in bright shade while roots develop and avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.

Once roots have formed and the cutting begins to establish, water sparingly when the soil is dry. Gradually acclimatize the plant to outdoor conditions and direct sunlight to prevent sunburn.
