The Echinopsis chamaecereus, commonly known as the Peanut Cactus, is a charming and compact cactus native to Argentina. It features slender, finger-like stems that form dense clusters, resembling a cluster of peanuts. These stems are covered in soft, white spines, giving the plant a fuzzy appearance. In late spring to early summer, the Peanut Cactus produces vibrant, large orange-red flowers that create a stunning contrast against the green stems. It thrives in well-draining soil and bright, indirect light.
